Service Above Self

Every spring Mission San Rafael Rotary Club members take 3-5 middle schoolers with them to learn about what they do for a living. Kids have a chance to see what a typical days is like for an attorney, tile company owner, real estate broker, advertising company owner and more.

While at the Marin County courthouse, they had an impromptu civic lesson from Otis Bruce, a Marin County Assistant District Attorney.

The morning ends with awards and prizes as well as lunch at San Rafael Joes for the kids and their teachers. Each year, their positive feedback reminds us how valuable it is for young people to see models of entrepreneurship.
